Salt and freshly ground pepper to taste
Toasted sliced almonds and shaved Parmesan cheese
Place asparagus in a large skillet and cover with water. Bring to a boil. Cover and cook for 3 minutes. Drain and remove from pan. In the same skillet, cook the garlic in oil over medium heat for 1 minute. Increase heat to medium-high and return asparagus to the pan; saute until tender. Add orange zest and toss.
Remove to a serving plate and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Garnish with almonds and cheese. Serves: 4-6
